Lavina Kathambi

Founder, Brown Sourcing

Lavina is an entrepreneur and business strategist with experience spanning business development, analytics, and e-commerce. Over the past seven years, she has supported businesses across global markets, developed strategic partnerships, and contributed to opportunities ranging from $250,000 to more than $7 million. Her professional experience also includes business analytics at Amazon, giving her valuable insight into customer behavior, operational processes, and data-informed decision-making within e-commerce.

Brown Sourcing grew from Lavina’s interest in what makes customers discover, trust, and repeatedly purchase from great brands. Her professional experience, business case studies, and graduate studies at the University of Washington helped shape a clear vision: to build responsible wholesale partnerships that connect quality consumer products with customers while protecting the reputation of every brand represented.

Through Brown Sourcing, Lavina works directly with brands and authorized distributors to purchase authentic inventory, follow established pricing and marketplace requirements, and support thoughtful long-term growth. She believes the strongest business relationships are built through clear communication, consistent execution, and trust earned over time.

Outside of business, you’ll probably find Lavina hiking a new trail early on a Saturday morning with a matcha in hand, sweating through a heated Pilates class, or spending time with furry friends on a sunny afternoon. She enjoys a good challenge, loves healthy competition, and brings that same energy and consistency to everything she builds.
